AptaPilot provides research software for aptamer analysis. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can while still being able to tell whether you qualify for the free academic tier.
AptaPilot 提供适配体分析研究软件。本政策说明我们收集哪些个人信息、为什么收集， 以及你可以如何处置。在能判断你是否符合学术免费资格的前提下，我们尽量少收。

You provide, when registering or editing your profile:

- Email邮箱 — your account identity and how we reach you. 账号身份与联络方式。 Required必填
- Name姓名 — who the licence belongs to. 授权归属。 Required必填
- Institution机构 and 与 Role身份 — whether the free academic tier applies to you. Email domain alone cannot answer this: many research institutes do not use .edu. 用于判断学术免费资格。仅凭邮箱域名判断不了 —— 很多研究所并不使用 .edu。 Required必填
- Country, research field, supervisor, how you heard of us国家、研究方向、导师、从哪里知道我们 — to understand who the tools serve. 用于了解用户构成。 Optional可选
Collected automatically when you use the software:

- A salted, irreversible hash of machine identifiers, so a licence can be bound to your device. It is not a serial number and cannot be turned back into one. 机器标识的加盐不可逆哈希，用于把授权绑定到设备。它不是序列号，也无法还原为序列号。
- Licence issuance records and sign-in timestamps, to operate and support your account. 授权签发记录与登录时间，用于账号运营与支持。
We do not collect your research data. The desktop tools process your sequences and files locally; their contents and results never leave your machine. We also do not collect government identifiers, dates of birth, addresses, card numbers, or precise location.
我们不收集你的研究数据。桌面工具在本地处理序列与文件，其内容与结果都不会离开你的电脑。 我们同样不收集证件号、出生日期、住址、银行卡号或精确位置。
3. How it is used3. 如何使用
To create and operate your account, decide which edition you are entitled to, deliver updates, and answer support requests. Aggregate, non-identifying counts (for example "users across N institutions in M countries") may be used to describe the project's reach. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.
用于创建与运营账号、判断你可用的版本、分发更新、回应支持请求。 我们可能使用不含身份信息的汇总统计（例如「N 所机构、M 个国家的用户」） 描述项目覆盖情况。我们不出售你的信息，也不用于广告。
4. Where it is stored4. 存储与传输
Your account data is held on third-party cloud infrastructure used to run this service. Those providers may store and process it outside your own country, including outside Canada, China and the EU. Creating an account means you understand that this cross-border processing takes place. We share your information with those providers solely to run the service — never for their own purposes.
账号数据保存在支撑本服务运行的第三方云基础设施上。这些服务商可能在你所在国家/地区之外 （包括加拿大、中国与欧盟之外）存储和处理数据。创建账号即表示你了解存在这一跨境处理。 我们仅为运行本服务而向其提供信息，绝不用于其自身目的。
5. How long we keep it5. 保留期限
For as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete it, we remove or anonymise your personal information; records that must be kept for licensing integrity and audit (for example that a licence was once issued, with identifying fields stripped) are retained only in anonymised form.
在账号存续期间保留。你申请删除后，我们会删除或匿名化你的个人信息； 出于授权完整性与审计必须保留的记录（例如「某次授权曾被签发」，已去除身份字段）仅以匿名形式留存。
6. Your choices6. 你的权利
- See it查看 — export everything we hold about you as JSON, from your account page. 在账号页把我们持有的全部数据导出为 JSON。
- Correct it更正 — edit your profile at any time. 随时在资料页修改。
- Delete it删除 — email us and we will delete or anonymise your account. 来信申请，我们会删除或匿名化你的账号。
- Withdraw consent撤回同意 — the optional fields can be cleared at any time without losing access; deleting your account withdraws consent entirely. 可选字段可随时清空且不影响使用；删除账号即完全撤回。
Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as PIPEDA (Canada), the GDPR (EU/UK) or PIPL (China). Write to us and we will honour them.
视你所在地区，你可能还享有 PIPEDA（加拿大）、GDPR（欧盟/英国）或《个人信息保护法》（中国） 赋予的其他权利。来信告知，我们会予以配合。
7. Children7. 未成年人
This is a tool for researchers. It is not intended for children under 16.
本服务面向研究人员，不面向 16 周岁以下的未成年人。
8. Changes8. 政策变更
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will raise the version above and ask you to agree again the next time you sign in.
如本政策发生对你有实质影响的变更，我们会提升上方版本号，并在你下次登录时重新征得同意。
